Melisa Wilkinson is the New Technologies Manager at the Environment & Public Space Ministry of the City of Buenos Aires since 2016 and holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She has ample experience in the fields of environmental management and waste treatment. She is in charge of several different programs and policies, including the “Food Zero Waste”, the “Responsible Consumption” programs and the Recycling Center waste treatment plants. Prior to her current job, Melisa worked as a young professional in the General Coordination Unit for Environmental Management of the Environmental Protection Agency (2014-2015). She has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Protection Management from the Buenos Aires Technological Institute (ITBA).
