I am an urban planner with special expertise in (digital) participation.
Having done research at the interface between urban development, participation and civic engagement before, I currently work for liquid democracy, a berlin based non-profit association dedicated to strengthening our democracy. We aim to make democratic decision-making more flexible, dynamic and transparent. We mainly do this by promoting the advantages of civic engagement through online participation. For this purpose, we have developed our own open-source-software that is and has been used from a variety of project partners such as political parties, municipalities and NGOs.
As a project manager for the development and implementation of the online platform mein.berlin.de I contribute to facilitate online civic participation in Berlin. I received my diploma in urban- and regional planning from the Technical University of Berlin.
