Call for Content

Each semester the use platform focuses on a priority topic relating to the Sustainable Development Goals. This serves as the foundation for much of the editorial content published during the following months.  Following on from Just Cities and the Common Good, Green Cities, New Urban Democracy , Public Space, Smart Cities and Sustainable Mobility, the next priority topic is Inclusive Cities.

In the coming months, the platform will feature essays, interviews, news and case studies related to policy and projects focused on inclusiveness, including but not limited to

  • access to essential services
  • gender equality
  • intergenerational solidarity
  • urban planning for social cohesion and barrier-free cities
  • cultural vibrancy
  • social integration of migrants and refugees
  • right to housing
  • inclusion of people with disabilities.

We invite interested citymakers and local governments to contribute

  • case studies
  • recommendations for publications, reports or other useful resources for our use picks format.
  • announcements for events, conferences, awards and other ongoing activities related to the topic.

Contributions will be promoted on the use website and via our bi-weekly Community News, twitter feed and further through the Metropolis social media channels and newsletter.

Upload your case study online.
