What programmes and policies do cities need to implement to meet their growing responsibilities? How can local governments engage in dialogue with national levels of government, and how can city networks and international organisations facilitate this process?

At our online networking event Digital Citymakers’ Summit, we invite you to discuss and explore these and other questions with your colleagues and fellow citymakers.

The event will open with a welcome address by Ana-Maria Trăsnea (Permanent Secretary for Active Citizenship, Democracy Support and International Relations in the Berlin Senate Chancellery), followed by a panel discussion with Jordi Vaquer (Secretary General of Metropolis) and Benedek Jávor (Head of Representation of Budapest in Brussels) and a Q&A, moderated by Prof. Paul James (Western Sydney University). The main part of the event takes place in the network sessions hosted by Metropolis and the use platform partner organizations Eurocities, UCLG Learning and Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation, C40, and World Habitat.
