I was born on 24th October 1957. I completed my high school education in Zagreb, and graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb. I worked in local administration offices for several years, and then during the Croatian War of Independence for the Ministry of Defense. At the moment I work in the City Office for Veterans as a Head of Office. All my work experience is dedicated to the care for socially vulnerable groups, and in the last 25 years I have been working on planning and implementing measures to improve standard of life of the war veterans and their families. I published several booklets, books and presentations about the social involvement of the veterans by developing social policy according to the needs of the veteran population in Croatia, (which is the only state in EU that suffered a civil war after the World War II). In future I would like to continue developing adequate social policy and activities that would affect the living conditions and welfare of the veterans.
