Dr. Rene Peter Hohmann is the Executive Director of the EU Office in Brussels (Belgium) at the German Association of Housing, Urban and Spatial Development (DV). Prior to joining the DV, he has worked over 15 years in senior management positions in multilateral and bilateral cooperation, such as at the World Bank, United Nations and OECD, with a specific focus on inclusive and sustainable development in cities. As a professional and academic, he is eager to share experiences on how to address the socio-economic disparities between and within cities of all sizes in the context of the emerging climate crisis.
