Leveraging a decade and a half of experience in engineering urban (and rural) solar power projects on 3 continents, James has also been involved in high-tech vertical farming since 2016, working with Urban Crop Solutions in testing and sales of indoor plant cultivation/ speed breeding systems. He is currently completing a doctorate on the symbiosis of urban food production and renewable energy systems at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain.
