I'm working at the Secretariat of Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (the Guangzhou Award). Co-hosted by UCLG, METROPOLIS and the City of Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Award aims to recognize innovation in improving social, economic and environmental sustainability in cities and regions and, in so doing, to advance the prosperity and livelihood of their citizens. The Guangzhou Award is open to all cities and local governments worldwide. It has been successfully for two cycles and the third edition will take place in 2016.
