World Food Day celebrated annually on October 16 since 1979, raises awareness about hunger and promotes action for sustainable food systems.
This year's theme, "Right to foods for a better life and a better future," emphasises the importance of accessible, affordable, and nutritious food for all. Despite global food production being sufficient to feed everyone, hunger still affects 10% of the world's population.
You can join with the Food and Agriculture Organisation in advocating for the universal right to a diverse, nutrient-rich, and safe diet to work towards a more sustainable and equitable food future.
