The Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (Guangzhou Award) is co-sponsored by the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), the World Association of the Major Metropolises (Metropolis) and the City of Guangzhou.
The Workshop for Thought Leaders has been held three times since 2015 under the framework of the Guangzhou Award. The Workshop aims to promote knowledge sharing and capacity building in urban innovation and sustainable development for stakeholders of cities and local governments.
Under the theme “Innovative Cities, Shared Future”, the event will feature an exhibition on urban innovation, a series of seminars and the release of the latest Guangzhou Award research reports.
