As we come to the end of another turbulent year of COVID-19 disrupting both our living conditions and working lives, the use team would like to thank you for your participation and contributions to the platform in these challenging times.
Knowledge exchange and network building at an international level has become even more important during the pandemic. A wide range of initiatives being impleneted by cities around the world is a testiment to the capacities of local governments, public agencies, NGO's, civil society groups and city makers in working together to address the needs of citizens and stake holders as they arise.
The use community now consists of 537 citymakers from 427 cities. The platform hosts 423 case studies with citizen engagement and governance being the most popular topics.
This year we have produced more content for the platform: use:positions, use:revisited, spotlight on, 5 approaches to and use:topic Our fortnightly use community news has allowed us to promote and share our activities to the growing use community.
