The use platform is pleased to announce its partnership with CLAIR (Council of Local Authorities for International Relations) via the Japan Local Government Centre (JLGC) in London.
CLAIR is a government-affiliated incorporated foundation that works to support the internationalisation efforts of local governments in Japan. CLAIR provides training opportunities, fostering people-to-people exchange with the JET Programme and other initiatives, supports multiculturalism, and undertakes research on behalf of local governments. Members include the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, prefectures, designated cities and all other municipalities.
Over the past two years CLAIR has contributed a number of case studies to the use platform from Japanese local governments including Kyoto, Nagasaki and Fukuoka. We look forward to publishing more best practices from leading local governments in Japan now our partnership has been formalised.
