Thursday March 25, 2021, 2-4 pm (CET)

Register now!

Sustainable urban development is committed to the common good. But what approaches and strategies can be used to transform this commitment into good urban practice? How do the guiding principles of the “Just City” become a reality in sustainable urban development projects? The Digital Citymakers’ Summit invites you and your colleagues to discuss and explore these and other urgent questions.

In a short keynote lecture, Dr Oliver Weigel from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community of the German government, will outline the key principles of the recently renewed Leipzig Charter. The main part of the event takes place in the network sessions hosted by Metropolis and the use platform partner organizations:  Eurocities, Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation, UCLG Learning, URBACT, and World Habitat.

Learn about inspiring projects, policies and knowledge resources and meet key actors in the field of sustainable urban development from around the globe!
