Launched in 2016 by C40 Cities and Fondation L’Oreal, Women4Climate emphasises the connection between achieving climate justice and gender equality.
This free online course was developed with the participation of academics and experts from Columbia Climate School and CARE. It aims to strengthen women and girls’ leadership skills to deliver climate initiatives focused on the principles of inclusion and equity.
The course is structured around four modules:
- Introduction to climate change and inclusive climate action.
- Women at the heart of climate action.
- Taking the lead on inclusive climate action.
- Influencing change and staying resilient.
The course is self-paced and participants can start the course at any time and work through the material at the time that suits them best.
