A new Youth Award for the 2024 edition of the AIPH World Green City Awards was announced by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) on 6th December 2022 at the Youth Summit in Montréal ahead of the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
AIPH, GYBN, and Partners of the AIPH World Green City Awards are proud to announce the call for applications for the Youth Jury who will select the three finalists and the winner of the AIPH Youth Award in the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024.
All youth with a passion for building greener, healthier, & more resilient cities are invited to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants should:
- Be between the age of 18 and 35.
- Be actively working in the green city space in some relevant capacity and/or have a working technical background/knowledge in themes related to cities, plants, nature, and nature-oriented approaches to city design and operation and knowledge and experience in work related to more than one of the 7 categories for the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024.
Applications open on 1st September 2023 and close on 29th September 2023. All eligible applicants are invited to apply.
