Local and regional governments are on the front lines of addressing the major challenge of food security for humanity. Over the past two years, UCLG Learning, with support from the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and in partnership with Let's Food, has been committed to helping local authorities improve food security and strengthen sustainable food systems. This webinar is part of a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness and training key players on the best practices and tools needed to meet the challenges of food security.
The webinar has several objectives, including promoting the findings of a recent food security study, reaffirming the crucial role of local and regional governments in the global fight against food insecurity, identifying cooperation needs, communicating key recommendations, facilitating knowledge exchange, and gathering feedback to measure the impact and improve future initiatives.
