Vincent GOLLAIN, 48 years old, is the Chief Economic Development Officer of the « Economic Development Unit » of IAU Ile-de-France (www.iau-idf.fr) and President of an association of French territorial marketers. He is known in France as specialist of Territorial marketing and Branding (www.marketing-territorial.org)

He has studied Economics at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne where he obtained a Phd. He started to work at IAURIF in 1993. During 10 years, he published many papers about the Paris Region’s economy, clusters, competitiveness and research-innovation. He also gave advices to policy makers. In 2002, he joined Paris Region Economic Development Agency as Director. During 12 years, he did a lot to reinforce the attractiveness of the French Capital region: creation of the first economic map of the Paris Region (Econovista), Involvement in the creation of the Competitiveness Cluster "Cap Digital", Development of an regional Attractiveness Plan, marketing of the Greater Paris, etc. Between 2008 and 2014, he was also the coordinator of Hubstart Paris Region, the marketing alliance dedicated to promote the area of the international airport of Paris Charles de Gaulle.

In September 2014, he joined IAU Ile-de-France, a foundation dedicated to territorial entities, offering analysis, studies and decision-making tools. He manages a team of 20 people.
