Thomas Honeck is interested in the interface between academia, politics and practice. At Berlin’s Senate Chancelley, he is in charge of international network policies. As a researcher, Thomas specialises in innovation processes in urban planning and policy-making and sustainability governance within urban contexts. He also undertakes a PhD-project at Berlin’s Humboldt University. Previously Thomas was employed at the Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space (IRS) and the German Institute for Urbanism (Difu).
