Mobility reporting serves mobility planning.
It is a planning instrument that works as a supplement to conventional traffic and infrastructure planning, for transport planning that is more people-oriented.
 
The current shortcoming of transport planning instruments is the focus on quantitative traffic data, i.e., on the temporal expression of changes in location, which neglects people and their motives for generating traffic in the first place.
Our researchproject aims to strategically reconsider transport policy and competently shape sustainable transport development by intergrating new methods to transport planning.
