Marwa Tharwat is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Regional Urban Development at the Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning, Cairo University. Her areas of interest include urban and regional governance, local development management, and decentralization. She is presently pursuing her doctorate in metropolitan governance.
