Ilya Sogolov has been working as a student assistant in the area of "Mobility and Space" at the Center for Technology and Society of the Technical University since 2018. He is working on the 'Sumrica' project. The project deals with sustainable mobility within cities in Central Asia.
Furthermore, Ilya works at his previous job, where he writes and manages content about energy conservation in buildings.
Ilya Sogolov is studying towards a Master's degree in Sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin. He completed his Bachelor in Social Sciences at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. There he wrote a Bachelor thesis on the approaches to unconditional basic income in Europe. Yet before, Ilya has made an attempt in the study of electrical engineering at the Technion In Haifa in Israel. During this time he served as the sustainability manager of his university and the green campus. He led a team for students, committed to sustainability at the university.
