The job involves assisting, advising mayors, decision-makers, builders, bankers,to establish, organize and make their cities, neighborhoods, blocks. It means programing urban and housing development, designing urban projects. This suppose to analize, define objectives, program, control architects, exchange with inhabitants.

Gérard LE BIHAN works in the company of architectural, urban and social programming, which he created in 1989, of the advice, the assistance to ownership of work and training with cities, urban and public and private decision makers, in the field of the housing social and neighborhood in trouble in France and abroad.

He realizes missions abroad on similar subjects (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, …).

He takes part with the Urban Renewal National Agency (ANRU as to advise).

He is trainer with the National Union of Social Housing, the School of the Urban Renewal (ANRU), the University of Paris 13, and Architecture School of Normandy.

Firstly, from 1975 to 1981, he dedicated to the ancient centers in France, on which he made architectural, urban inventories and environment to rehabilitate buildings in support of procedures, and established guides of architectural prescriptions in several cities.

Secondly, hfrom 1981 to 1989, he managed the office of programming-conception in the National Union of Social Housing to elaborate methods of intervention intended to improve the quality of the production of the social housing.

For the same period, he developed some advice abroad on the social housing (Algeria, Palestine, Poland, Bulgaria).
