I am Gayathri and I'm currently in the first semester of the 'Sustainable resource management' program. I was born and brought up in Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast. My inherent love for nature can be attributed to my upbringing amidst flourishing flora and fauna. I am a result-oriented civil engineering graduate, having over 5 years of experience in hydraulic modelling. I worked as a wastewater modeller in WS Atkins on integrated urban drainage projects for various UK frameworks like Anglian, Welsh and Thames Water. I am an avid reader who enjoys primarily fiction and also a hip hop dancer. I love dogs, enjoy travelling and meeting new people. And I especially love the outdoors! Through the SRM program, I hope to get closer to understanding sustainability and spread the message of 'sustainability as a lifestyle'.
