Mr. Fezile Njokweni has a Bachelor of Social Science and Master of Town and Regional Planning degree. He has worked with municipalities for 15 years. He started off as a Community Liaison Officer in the Ugu District Municipality, and moved on to become a Manager: Technical Services and Planning.

He is currently a Programme Manager: Knowledge Management for eThekwini Municipality. His job entails the identification, acquiring, creating, organising, packaging, storing, sharing and the use of knowledge to advance service delivery, promote good governance and ensure financial viablity in eThekwini Municipality.

His background as a qualified development practitioner and being involved community work, politicians, private organisations, agencies and other stakeholders places him at an advantage to work at local, national and international level. He is currently responsible for facilitating and coordinating the City of Sao Paulo - eThekwini Mentorship Programme... as well as documenting lessons learned and sharing good practice.
