Earth Hour

The climate change emergency is impacting our cities at this very moment. From rising maximum and minimum temperatures, higher ocean temperatures, rising sea levels, an increase in heavy precipitation, the proportion of violent tropical cyclones, and in aridity and drought. Along with a decline in Artic seas ice and snow cover, glacier recession and retreat and thawing permafrost, our planet and its unique biodiversity urgently need our help.

At 8.30pm, Saturday 25 March, hundreds of millions of people around the world will #switch off their lights to show their support for stronger action on climate change. There has never been a more critical time to come together to protect our world than at this moment.
