17th International Conference on the Inclusive Museum

13-15 September 2024, Vienna + Online

The Inclusive Museum Research Network, established in 2008, brings together individuals who share a concern for the future role of museums and their potential for increased inclusivity. The network aims to foster connections across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries, creating an epistemic community that develops action strategies based on shared themes and tensions. The Seventeenth International Conference on the Inclusive Museum invites research submissions addressing its annual themes, which include visitors, collections, and representations, as well as a special focus for 2024 on the intersection of museums, inclusion, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
